Regulations for International Students Scholarship
In order to encourage International students studying at NCEPU to study hard, an International Students Scholarship has been setup. Regulations for the scholarship are as follows:
Section I Chinese Language Students
Evaluation Criteria:
1) Students have studied at NCEPU for more than one semester and will continue their study here,
2) Students have not been absent from class 5 times or more during the semester,
3) Students have succeeded in gaining a score of 75 or above in each lesson,
4) The Scholarship will be awarded to the students whose average score over the entire semester lies in the top 10% of all International students.
Evaluation Time: The end of each semester.
Amount of the Scholarship:
First rank (3%): 500yuan (RMB);
Second rank (7%): 200yuan (RMB).
Section II Specialty Students
Evaluation Criteria:
1) Students are studying at NCEPU and will continue their study here over the next academic year,
2) Students have not been absent from class 10 times or more during the whole academic year,
3) Students have succeeded in gaining a score of 65 scores or above in each lesson,
4) The Scholarship will be awarded to the students whose average score over the entire semester lies in the top 10% of all International students.
Evaluation Time: The end of each academic year.
Amount of the Scholarship:
First rank (3%): 1000yuan (RMB);
Second rank (7%): 500yuan (RMB)
Section III Individual Scholarship
Evaluation Criteria:
Students who have passed Grade 7 of the HSK test will be awarded a scholarship of 200yuan (RMB).
Section IV The scholarship will be rejected if the students:
1) have been under surveillance by the Public Security Bureau,
2) or have been criticized by the University for violating the university’s regulations.
